But let me tell a story from my life that make me what I am today.


After being in a seven-year relationship with a man I thought was my world, he suddenly ended our story. I had believed that everything was fine between us and that things were going in the right direction, but obviously, they were not. I was devastated, and for days and nights, I cried and felt depressed. However, I soon realized that I did not want to keep feeling like a victim and decided to take baby steps toward regaining my life. However, I tried to bury everything instead of dealing with my emotions and resolving the issue. This experience was traumatic and compounded by other issues in my life. I was still the same shy girl who always tried to make my family happy, even though I knew it was not what I wanted. I was still forcing myself to do things for the approval of others. I was at a low point in my life - without any money and in huge debt, with a 10-year-old daughter, without a job, and with parents who were as broke as I was. It was a difficult situation, and it hit me hard. I thought that I was not good for anything, that nobody loved me, that I could not choose someone good for me, that I could not raise my child the way I wanted, that I was afraid, and that every option was a negative response. I was in a dark place and felt lost. However, I decided to take small steps toward recovery. Until one day, my husband showed up in my life out of the blue (I believe the Universe heard my prayers), and I started to see the light step by step. After having a long talk, I started to write things down, make lists, and encourage myself to take small steps in my recovery. Recovering from a traumatic experience is not easy; it is a journey that requires patience. In these low moments, it is better to open up to someone, write down your thoughts, and do things that you love. Even though it may be tempting to stay in bed and cry, pushing yourself to get out and do small things you enjoy can make coping easier.

Self-love is not always easy, especially when we're going through tough times. But it's important to remember that we are all worthy of love, including ourselves.
